Ed Kaye

Ed Kaye is Vice President at Putnam Leasing, where he co-manages critical aspects of the business, including credit underwriting, legal compliance, collections, and operations.

With over 30 years of experience in the consumer and commercial vehicle leasing and finance industry, Ed’s career spans executive roles at Inspiration Mobility and Access Commercial Capital, where he served as Co-Founder, Managing Member, and General Counsel. His leadership at Access was instrumental in its acquisition by United Leasing and Finance, and he previously co-founded The Advantage Funding Group, growing it into a $500 million portfolio company under Marubeni America Corporation.

Ed holds a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law and both master’s and bachelor’s degrees in communication from the University at Albany. He is a past President and current Board Member of the National Vehicle Leasing Association (NVLA) and serves on the Leasing News advisory board.

In his free time, Ed enjoys playing tennis, golf, and spending quality time with family and friends.
